Efficiency

The soapnuts are extremely pure. One single product serves as a pre-wash, wash and softener. It has been shown that the product preserves the brightness of all fabrics, at all temperatures (30°,40°, 60°). ANTALAVA is especially ideal for wool, silk, cotton and any other delicate fabric. It respects the structure of the original material. It also keeps your fabrics soft and easy to iron, with no need to add other products.

Simplicity

ANTALAVA is packaged in single-dose pouches of a cotton-based fibre, similar to tea bags. They are resistant at all machine temperatures, and at all tumbler speeds of modern washing machines. A considerable advantage in terms of handling as well as hygiene.

Antiallergic

The product has a proven antiallergic effect. In Ayurvedic medicine, the soap nut is used successfully in the treatment of skin diseases. It is particularly effective for people suffering from allergies, atypical dermatitis, psoriasis, or desquamation. It is also safe for sensitive skin.

Think about your children as well! Several allergies can be avoided.

Environment friendly

ANTALAVA is an exclusively vegetal product, both the contents itself and its container (pouches in natural fibres). The variety of soapnut used by ANTALAVA, the sapindus mukorossi, is non-polluting, it respects water and its ecosystem.

Significant contribution to disadvantaged populations

The soapnut is hardly exploited, if at all. The regions in which it grows, the foothills of the Himalayas, are especially disadvantaged. This project makes use of existing trees, the fruit of which until now were mainly left to the abandon. Additional trees can be planted on land hitherto left fallow, thus preventing erosion as the tree grows on steep cliffs. It creates new forms of employment: harvesting, transport, workers to dry and process the fruit and package the products. This project provides jobs for people who are illiterate for the most part, women in particular, for whom schooling is not a priority.
